Pacific Coast Harlequins
Have you also wondered about the two big dalmatinians featured in many of Lady Gaga's videos? You are not alone. The two Pacific Coast Harlequin dogs Lava and her son Rumpus have been heavily featured in Lady Gaga's videos since their first appearence in the "Poker Face" video. Their owner Suzzane Kelleher-Duckett has nicknamed them "Abbey Road" and "Aless". An example of their appearance in a Lady Gaga video is the Haus of Gaga production The Fame: Part One.
Rumpus' death
Rumpus died suddenly in October 2009 after a hike outside Los Angeles. He seemed to be in perfect shape so an autopsy were made, though we're still waiting for the results. He was to appear in the video "Bad Romance" but was replaced by Lava. Rumpus died 5 years old. He was an awarded show dog and a star in numerous videos and commercials.
Aw, it's sad Rumpus had to die. RIP ?

The dogs are Great Danes. They are also featured in "Eh, Eh, Nothing Else I Can Say" and short snippets of "Paparazzi". xx

You may want to be aware that Lava and Rumpus are, in fact, Great Danes, not "dalmatinians", as the article states.
